1. I find that the best article directory for this is GoArticles. I submit a quality article to them with good keyword density.

2. I submit the article to about 40 social bookmarking sites.

3. I make a bunch of blogs on various free blog sites linking to the article.

4. I usually rank on the first Google results page within 24 hours, even with millions of results believe it or not.

This has worked for me a lot. What's your experience? Do you have any ideas or theories on a different method?
